Inferno: The Making of ‘The Expendables’

I just watched Inferno: The Making of ‘The Expendables’ basically the behind the scenes of The Expendables but it’s really so much more than that. This film really dives into the making of an action film. Anyone who is interested in making film should really watch this film, it really shows the film making process. The whole thing is narrated by Sylvester Stallone and really is fun to listen to his views on writing and directing, and all his stories from previous films. Sadly the only place I can find it is on Netflix Instant, I can’t find on DVD anywhere and I really wish I could since I would buy it in a heart beat. I did however find that it’s a BlueRay exclusive, so even though I already own the DVD of The Expendables I will most likely be buying the BlueRay now.

Also when you watch this you have to watch for the “film critic” that they interview on the set, this guy has the dumbest looking beard I have ever seen! Basically he’s clean shaven every where except for the sideburns all the way down and under his neck. And the whole thing is big and bushy and he’s got really red hair so it just looks really dumb (as if the style didn’t look dumb enough). I really hope he lost a best and had to shave it that way, because if he looked in the mirror and said “that looks good” then I wouldn’t trust a single movie review he’s made!
