I’ve had IBS since I was in my teens and outside of high fiber diet nothing seems to really help my symptoms, I tried medication that didn’t help and only made my acid reflux flare, and I’ve tried peppermint pills that never really seemed to have much of an effect. So I kept reading about natural treatments, and maintained as health a diet as I could and only had minor issues once or twice a week.
In December I read an article about how ginger and fennel are are also good for controlling IBS symptoms and so I started doing some research and come across Heather’s Tummy Tamers on Amazon that mixed peppermint oil, ginger, and fennel into one pill with an Enteric coating, and so I decided to give it a shot.
I purchased two bottles in February and I am now halfway through my second bottle and I’m doing better than ever. I still have symptoms, but they are less frequent and much less severe. I still get a bad bought of diarrhea from time to time but it’s nowhere as bad as it used to be, before if I had an attack I’d be running in and out of the bathroom 3 or 4 times with very bad diarrhea every time, now after taking these pills for a few months if I have an attack it’s generally one time and then everything goes back to normal.
Some may say I’ve changed my diet and let me just say that if anything I’m eating worse than normal due to being very busy and under a lot of stress for the past two months, and if you have IBS you know that stress is a trigger and so I should by all accounts be having more attacks not less.
Conclusion
Is this a miracle cure? No, not by any stretch of the imagination. Do you still have to maintain a healthy diet? Yes, again these pills are not a miracle sure. Do they actually work? They seem to work for me, I’m only one person and so take that for what you will, but I’ve waited a few months to see how I’m doing after taking these pills for a while to make sure I’m not wasting people’s time on something that has no effect, and I seem to be doing better than ever.
