I just finished Carl Panzram: The Spirit of Hatred and Vengeance and wow what a sad story!  Carl Panzram was a sick man, but he was beaten and tortured to the point that you can’t totally blame him for his sickness.  The voice actor (John DiMaggio) reading Panzram’s journal is perfect, he really conveys the anger and hatred of Panzram.

The documentary also has some great interviews with experts on Panzram, and on physiology that really give great insight into the story of Carl Panzram.  This was a very interesting documentary, it’s not just a look into the mind of a psychopath, it’s also a look at what effect abuse can have on children and adults alike.  Watch this documentary, it’s worth the 80 minutes.
