I just finished Righteous Kill and damn was that good! It had everything you need for a good film, humor, drama, suspense, and a plot you can't figure out till the end, and let us not forget the fact that Al Pacino and Robert De Niro were the stars. Also there was great acting from John Leguizamo and the good actor out of the two Donnie Wahlberg, and I found out something I didn't know 50 Cent can actually act! If you haven't seen this one stop what ever your doing and watch it, it was excellent!
Get Him to the Greek: Very funny film, I have to say I like the way it's the follow up to Forgetting Sarah Marshall and yet it can stand on it own. I laughed all the way though, I'm so glad Jason and Mike told me I had to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall and then Get Him to the Greek, if you haven't seen this then see it.
Leaves of Grass: Just ok, not that great. It's not really a comedy, though it has it's funny moments. It's really just a story about living your life to the fullest, and loving your family and where your from. Personally I hate these films since I don't care about living life to the fullest, I don't love my family, and I hate where I'm from. Plus it's got nothing but country music for a sound track, yep it fucking sucked! If you haven't seen it, don't. Oh and on a side note I don't totally hate my family just the majority of them, there are some select few I like.
So I just finished watching "Patton Oswalt: My Weakness Is Strong!" and damn it was that funny! It was so much better than his last special "No Reason to Complain" which was just painful to sit though. Pattons hate filled hilarity never disappoints, but then again I like hateful jokes, hence my favorite comedian is Lewis Black.
I just finished watching Running Scared and I have to say for a Paul Walker film it wasn't bad! It had a good plot, decent acting, and it kept moving never letting it slow down for to long. But there were some parts that left me wondering why they needed to include them, parts that could have been left out and not hurt the film maybe even helped it. But if you've got two hours to kill I'd say give it a try, it's not the typical Paul Walker film, it's good.
So as you know I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed Friday, so I'm hurting but it gets a little better everyday so thats fun...
Then Monday I find out that my grandma fell and broke her ankle, then last night (Tuesday night) I found out that she just had a stroke! So she'll be placed in a nursing home till she recovers.
It's only Tuesday, the rest of this week better get good!
So since I've had some down time due to having my wisdom teeth removed, I've been watching some movies! So here is a review of what I've seen!
1. An American Crime: The true story of severe child abuse resulting in the death of the girl. Just a sad piece of film, that in my view really didn't need to be made. It was very slow, it didn't really have a good moral ending, just not worth the time. The only reason I finished it was the fact that it starred Ellen Page.
2. Passengers: Talk about a poor mans Sixth Sense! The acting was mediocre at best, the story was VERY weak, and in no time you can guess the ending. Really it was just painful to sit though, if you ever have the chance, don't.
3. Zombie Strippers: So bad it was good! As long as you understand that it's a comedy, and that is a bunch of porn stars doing the acting you will enjoy this one. It's a trashy movie, with several anti-bush jokes, but it's got lots of nudity so thats a plus! Just a heads up your not going to see more of Jenna Jameson than you already have, if thats what your watching for just watch one of her pornos.
